This spring the RSM Art Gallery is hosting its fifth biannual student art exhibition, Connectivity, featuring artwork by students at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University (SMFA at Tufts). These exhibitions are extremely popular events, bursting with diverse artwork by some of Boston’s most talented young artists, with all works available for sale. At the March 4 opening reception expect to see paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture and photographs hung salon-style.
Connectivity encompasses artwork by 24 emerging talents. A call for art was presented to SMFA at Tufts students in December with guidelines for the exhibition, which will have the theme of connectivity. The exhibition will explore the networks, communities, cultures and experiences that unite us. The show will be juried by Christopher Mackenzie, market managing partner at RSM US; Diego Rosenfeld, principal at RSM US and a Tufts alumnus; Christina Godfrey, director of the Sunne Savage Gallery; and Kendall Reiss, professor of the practice at SMFA at Tufts. We invite RSM employees, clients, artists, professors, the community and SMFA at Tufts and Tufts University alumni to connect at the reception on March 4.
